Records undercut Tulsi Gabbard’s claim of ignorance on cleric’s views

Trump’s nominee for director of intelligence said, under oath, that she was not aware “until today” that a prominent cleric she met in Syria threatened to unleash suicide bombers in the United States. Documents indicate that she knew about this in early 2017 and attempted to manage the negative publicity.
