Istanbul University hampers Erdogan rival’s presidential bid

The Turkish president’s main political rival, Ekrem Imamoglu, was set to be nominated as his party’s pick for presidential candidate this weekend. But Istanbul Univesity revoked Imamoglu’s degree, disqualifying him.
