Japan issues emergency alert, braces for Typhoon Shanshan

As Typhoon Shanshan slowly approaches southwestern Japan, the country is bracing for a powerful storm. Airlines announced flight cancelations, and Toyota Motor will suspend operations at all of its domestic plants.
