Turkey’s Fethullah Gulen: A cleric with political clout

Fethullah Gulen, a former ally of Turkish President Erdogan who became his archenemy, died Sunday. Gulen, who had been living in US exile since 1999, was accused by Ankara of being the mastermind of a failed 2016 coup.
