Stepfather who shook 22-month-old boy to death then tried to claim he’d choked on Hobnob is jailed for 25 years

Christopher Stockton, 38, who shook his partner’s toddler, Charlie Roberts, to death has been jailed for life at Teesside Crown Court with a minimum term of 25 years after he was convicted of murder.
