After months of mounting concerns that the campaign against Iran has critically depleted the US supply of munitions, Trump took to social media – not long before he was set to address world leaders at the United Nations – to dismiss the fears.
“The cowards and traitors would love to say the United States is low on munitions,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It’s not true. We have more munitions than we could ever possibly think of using, and are building them up now at levels we have never seen before.”
